Black lentiles

The black organic lentils from the Bioland farm Marcus Comtesse are nutty-aromatic, firm in cooking and are ideal for salads, roasts or as a side dish. Before cooking, dried lentils should be soaked in water, preferably overnight, but at least 4 to 6 hours. The lentils swell up due to the soaking and taste more tender afterwards. Black organic lenses need about 25 to 40 minutes cooking time.
